HVAC contractor is not on time

It was little after 10:35 in the morning when the Heating plus A/C specialist finally arrived at our house. I was furious by then, as I was going to lose at least a half a day’s PTO at work. And I could not easily afford that loss. I had called the Heating plus A/C company last evening at around 10 PM, when I first noticed that our cooling system was having a hard time keeping our house cool. I kept turning down the temperature control, but the temperature in our condo wouldn’t go below 79 degrees. It was quite hot outside, but even as it cooled down in the evening, our house still stayed warm. The Heating plus A/C company told myself and others that they would have a specialist at our house first thing in the early morning, so I was expecting someone by 7 or eight, at the very latest! Now here it was 10:30 AM, plus they still had not arrived. I was not honestly happy at all. My boss had already called my cell phone twice, and I had missed a honestly crucial morning meeting. I easily did not have a choice, though.  I had to get our Heating plus A/C unit repaired because it was the middle of warm season plus the heat was unbearable. Finally, around noon, the Heating plus A/C specialist had our cooling system running again, plus our house started to cool down. I had to rush to make it to work in time for our afternoon meeting. Thankfully, our boss was extremely gracious, and she wasn’t even mad that I had missed a half of a day. She understood the importance of having a properly working cooling system.
