Heating/air conditioning in a cabin

Just last year I took the most memorable holiday of my life, but not for wonderful reasons. My sibling and I had actually been really working honestly hard, & the two of us were both dying to escape the bustle of work. Together, the two of us decided to rent a lodge in the most remote area the two of us could find, so we found a small lodge online that was about 3 hours from where the two of us lived. The two of us went ahead and booked a stay there for a week before the two of us realized what the two of us had done. When the two of us got there, the two of us found that the home did not have an HVAC system installed at all. It was cold outside. After the drive & paying the rental fee for the lodge, the two of us decided to stick it out anyway. For the first four nights, all the two of us had to keep warm was a fireplace. My sibling and I had to spend a couple of hours each day chopping wood to keep the fire lit. All I could daydream about while the two of us were freezing even inside was how much I missed being able to actually go ahead and control my oil furnace using only a thermostat. I realized how much I take central heating & air for granted in this day and age. After those four full nights, the two of us were fatigued of feeling freezing all of the time, so the two of us decided to drive back to the town to ultimately purchase a couple of section furnaces for our rooms. They made it much easier to sleep during the chilly nights. When the week was up, the two of us were rejuvenated but really ready to get back to our respective homes. The first thing I did was turn the heat way up. Next, I sat down in my recliner & happily took a long nap beneath the air vent. Never again will I take a holiday without ensuring that the rental apartment has a great central heating and cooling system.
