The absolutely best thing about having various streaming platforms for watching a variety of movies and shows is be able to binge watch. If you don’t suppose you know the term, binging with regard to TV is when you plant your butt on the couch and watch way too much tv for way too many hours in a row. It’s not a healthy way to spend our days off, I admit, but I constantly work forty-eight hour shifts at the hospital, so when I have a day off I don’t care to move at all if I can help it. I can watch ten hours of a show in a single sitting, which I did last Wednesday even though our central cooling system went ahead and crashed and almost exploded on me. I suppose I’m being a bit dramatic, but that a/c let out a massive, painful-sounding howl of metal grinding on metal and then stopped dead. I paused our show for a few minutes, and then I went ahead and used my lovely smartPhone to research all the Heating plus A/C repair companies and AC dealers in the immediate vicinity. Then I restarted myself and others show and waited patiently for the old A/C repair team to arrive. The apartment was heating up swiftly, but I tried not to worry. I did end up pausing our show again and went to the front door when the Heating plus A/C technicians finally arrived, and told them I would be on the couch if they needed me. There were multiple technicians finally working on our a/c, and they made so much noise I almost couldn’t hear my favorite show! It took them a while before the A/C was up and running once again.
