My last flight on a plane was far different than what I thought! Let me begin by saying that I like plane rides; I bring a book and sweatshirt, as well as music to listen to. I buckle into my little seat and prepare myself to enter a nice, peaceful mindset. I basically remain quiet. Every past flight I’ve traveled on has left me freezing. That is why I am always sure to wear pants as well as hoodies into the airport in preparation for the flight itself. And of course, the airports themselves are usually chilly as well, but that’s another story. Anyway, the most recent flight I went on was shocking, but in a great way. The flight wasn’t chilly at all! Actually, the space was on the hotter side. I was excited. I tucked my hoodie away under my seat, happy with the fact that I actually wouldn’t need it. I’m always comfortable on planes because I come prepared, but it was nice to find comfort without any extra help from my regular set of outerwear. I enjoyed the flight making a big dent in my book as well as listening to all of my favorite music. I was thankful for the significant lack of harsh air conditioning on that flight. Hopefully future flights will remain similar to this one, although I’ll still bring my sweatshirt with me just in case. It’s a nice opportunity to be greeted by a normal temperature on a plane, but it’s a rarity nonetheless.
